CphClimate 2035 Conference

CPH Climate 2035

Climate Leadership Summit

22 April 2026 in The Black Diamond - Royal Danish Library

Launch of the Climate Strategy 2035

The City of Copenhagen is launching its newly adopted Climate Strategy 2035. The Climate Strategy 2035 sets a clear direction for Copenhagen for the coming decade: to reduce emissions within the city while also cutting the global climate footprint caused by how we live, consume, build, and operate beyond our municipal borders.

Climate Action and Quality of Life

The strategy rests on a simple but powerful principle: climate action must go hand in hand with quality of life. Copenhagen aims to demonstrate that ambitious climate leadership can make the city not only greener, but also an even better place to live, work, and do business.

Conference and International Dialogue

To achieve these targets, we must continue our dialogue with local and international stakeholders both to gain insights and to inspire one another.

Please join us in Copenhagen for a one-day conference with an introduction to the Climate Strategy, insights into key elements of our approach to reducing CO2 emissions, international keynotes and political discussions. Together with climate leaders from Copenhagen, Denmark, European cities and C40, we will discuss challenges and solutions.

The conference is for invited participants and free of charge.
